SMC Integration Solutions seeking a Quality Manager for our facility in Nicholasville, KY. The Quality Manager promotes, develops and oversees the compliance of the company management system. Effectively assuring compliance of customer requirements by managing quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure that processes needed for the Management System are established, implemented and maintained
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Initiates internal and external corrective actions. Create the team for correction actions and ensure completion and verification.
  • Develop and train inspection staff for receiving, in-process and final inspection.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits as well as complete customer quality surveys.
  • Works with Purchasing to help ensure vendor quality.
  • Makes final determination on non-conforming material product.
  • Facilitates preparation and delivery of performance reviews.
  • Develops department budget and manages cost.

Competencies:

  • Six Sigma or other analysis experience preferred
  • Advanced level computer skills
  • Quality Management System (ISO) experience required
  • Strong corrective action experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lead, motivate, coach and teach others
  • Teamwork is a condition of employment

Required Education and Experience:

  • College Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing with supervisory experience
  • Advanced level computer skills
  • Quality Management System (ISO) experience required
  • Strong corrective action experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Six Sigma or other analysis
